I am a wife to my best friend, Shaun and we have a little boy. The three of us have so much fun together!
I grew up in a small town in Idaho but we are currently raising our family in a small town in Utah.
We live pretty far from any big box grocery stores. When I quit my job as a hairdresser and came home to raise our baby it became harder to go for such long car rides all the way to go grocery shopping. I became very creative in the kitchen and found that we feel better when eating whole foods with organic, clean ingredients!
I love to look for healthier alternatives for things we use and eat in our home. I have switched out our cleaning products for homemade, nontoxic ones, we mainly purchase organic, whole foods, use natural remedies, and we even opted for an unmedicated birth with our baby.
A Few Fun Facts About Me:
My husband and I love to mountain bike and spend time outdoors, camping, backpacking, hunting, and currently he’s teaching me how to golf!
I played competitive volleyball in high school and still love messing around with whoever wants to play.
We have a pet snake named Orion and a dog named Copper.
I lived in Portugal for a year and a half serving a religious mission (I speak fluent Portuguese).
I gave birth to our son in a birth center with a midwife as our care provider.
One of my favorite hobbies is antiquing and thrifting!
I also love to crochet!
